STRATHAYR TURF REPLACEMENT SYSTEMS

StrathAyr provides two turf replacement systems – StrathAyr SquAyrs and StrathAyr MegAyr Turf.

The turf replacement products can be used to increase the usage capability of existing surfaces or to reduce the construction time required for new facilities.

Both products incorporate ReFlex ® mesh elements to provide remarkable strength and improved grass growth.

A nursery stock of these products can be held as insurance against usage damage.

StrathAyr SquAyrs - instant repair

StrathAyr SquAyrs are solid slabs of mature turf fully reinforced with ReFlex ® mesh elements, specific sand, peat moss and the roots of BAyr Root Turf.

StrathAyr SquAyrs are 110mm thick. Standard sizes are 2.4 metres x 2.4 metres and 1.2 metres x 1.2 metres.

SquAyrs can be used immediately after installation for horse racing and football and rugby codes. SquAyrs provide an instant load bearing capability.

StrathAyr MegAyr Turf – fast efficient turf replacement

Meg Ayr Turf is an efficient and cost effective reinforced roll-out turf product that can be played on immediately after installation.

MegAyr Turf can repair small high wear areas or the entire playing surface. MegAyr Turf provides insurance against late construction of the stadium and against usage damage with a ready to use, quality playing surface.

MegAyr Turf is a durable 40mm roll out turf that is comprised of ReFlex ® mesh elements, sand peat moss and BAyr Root Turf.

MegAyr Turf is supplied in large rolls and is easily installed with conventional machinery.

MegAyr Turf can be used immediately after installation for football and rugby codes and three weeks after installation for horse racing.

MegAyr Turf users include Suncorp Stadium, Singapore Racecourse ANZ Olympic Stadium, Flemington Racecourse, Moonee Valley Racecourse, and numerous other venues.
