INNOVATIVE TURF SYSTEMS FOR ALL SPORTS

 

StrathAyr have developed specialised turf systems to increase the flexibility of sports turf venues.

 

Cricket & Foorball Code Changeover

The StrathAyr “Drop-In” Portable Cricket Wicket technology enables cricket wickets to be fully prepared off the ground, transported into position and used immediately. The cricket wickets are transported in one slab (25m long, 3m wide, 200mm deep).

StrathAyr immediate repair systems are used to repair high wear areas and assist the change over between sporting codes.

Tennis

To enable Australian to play on their preferred surface grass a special portable tennis court was developed.

The StrathAyr Tennis Australia Tennis Court stays at StrathAyr’s Victorian turf nursery between Davis Cup commitments. The Court has been used in several Davis Cup ties, including three finals.

 

Lawn Bowls

StrathAyr have constructed several lawn bowling greens including 5 for the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.
